Hello all!
I know this isn't the appropriate forum for the following question.
I apologize in advance for this, but I couldn't find any other forum that addressed this question.
----------
I'm using PComm under Windows 11 as a terminal emulator, accessing a z/OS system.
Not all symbol keys, when I press one of the "Shift," "Alt," and "AltGR" keys simultaneously, display the meaning of the key.
Using the "Map" option in PComm, I was able to change the meaning of almost all of them.
However, this option doesn't display some of the symbols required on a keyboard used on a z/OS system. One example of this is the single quotation mark (').
The PComm manual states that in this case, you can use the hexadecimal value representing the character, but it doesn't provide an example of how to do this!?!?
I've tried several options, but PComm's "Map" doesn't accept any of them.
I have two favors to ask:
1 - Please let me know which forum is the correct one to post this question in.
2 - If anyone uses PComm, could you help me with this problem?
Thank you very much, Ricardo. |
