Hello how are You?
Im new and there is a problem here at My work that no one was able to help with.
When I change from 24x80 to 43x80 it makes nothing (it permits the change but stills keep showing 24 rows 80 columns).
I changed in ispf to set screen format to max but it does not work.
Any idea?

1. Logoff / logon
2. make sure the emulator is for 3270 mod 2.
3. VTAM logmode definition needs to be set for 3270 mod 2.
4. Besides MAX, I think there is another ISPF setting for device type (my memory is hazy on this). |

Along with the emulator setting, you also have to change the ISPF settings for the option to work.
From ISPF main menu, type 0 and enter to get to ISPF settings.
There change the below option to 3.

Screen format 3 1. Data 2. Std 3. Max |
You might want to change the terminal type as well, first change the Screen Format and see if it works.
If it doesn't work then try changing the Terminal type. Mine is set to 3278, but it is site dependent. |
