When I joined IBM in 1967 in Johannesburg, the internal database systems for ordering, payroll, etc. were run on a database/data communications system called MIS. I handled the conversion to IMS/360 in 1973 and got an award for my efforts.
I cannot find anything about MIS online. Does anyone else recall it? |
