Hey all,
I am new to Control M and was previously using CA7. I would like to know if there are any commands/short-cuts to check the Predecessor/successor of a job in Control M?
Thanks,
Sridevi |

Yes, and it is documented in the documentation to which you have access. You will probably find information via the Help system with which you should spend time. And an even quicker way is to ask your co-workers. |

Hi Nic.
Thanks for your reply. I do not have access to the documentation, since we work on VDI machines. The client probably has it somewhere, and I have sent emails to get it from them, but that's taking time. Trust me my co-workers are also figuring out how to do this and haven't been able to so far.
The '?' works for jobs that are currently running, but not for completed/failed or queued jobs.
I will go through the Help system again, in the meanwhile, if anyone here already knows the command, it would be a great help.
thanks,
Sridevi |

The fact that you are running VDi shouldn't affect the access to documentation AFAIK |

If you are in
Code: |
3 ACTIVE ENV. CTM Active Environment Display |
Press the F1 key(or Help key) Then hit F8, like 14 times. Then you would come across the line commands that you could use on the screen.
Try the N command or Z Command.
I don't trust my memory of control-M commands, so always hit F1, then scroll approx. 14 times for the commands. |
