Hi,
I got a query on the Jobtrac. I would like to know If I can put a predecessor(Which will be loaded in Jobtrac later) for a Job(Which gets loaded in the 1st day of the month.
Please let me know if you got the answer.

Thanks,
Hritam

Hello,

You might consider putting a "stub" or "place holder" job as the predecessor. This job would be only 1 step that would execute iefbr14 with a dd statement to create/delete some dataset (mod, delete).

Then your process would be "complete" and there would be no concern for missing components. When the actual predecessor job is ready, replace the stub with the real job.
