Hi,

I can not explain why, but as to what you must do....

You must get current on your version of Z/os (and probably your DB2).

Version 1.8 went out of service on 30 Sep 2009. More than FIVE years ago.

At our shop, we do not let any products go out of service for a single day.

Trying to patch an issue such as this is a waist to time and resources.

If I were I client of yours, I would read my contract carefully. You are probably in violation of it.

Hi Evan

For Explanation see Messages and codes for IEF352I

You can try to avoid an IPL by (re)starting the task with REUSASID=YES
But there is no guarantee.
