Hi all,
we have a very strange symptom in JESMSGLG on a new LPAR.
Usually the commands issued by the executed program are listed in JESMSGLG (i.e. D TCPIP).
But on the new LPAR, they don't show.
Does anybody know if this indicates that the commands were not executed, or is there maybe a system setting, which suppress this output ???
We have no idea anymore. |

If the command was executed you should see it in the syslog. |

Could be commands are suppressed in the new LPAR by settings or RACF. Do you know if the actions of the commands actually happened, even if not in the sysout? (visible in Syslog as Willy suggests) |

You can also check the default MSGLEVEL setting for the Jobclass the job is executing, or try explicitely by specifying MSGLEVEL=(1,1) |
