I am trying to perform an SHA 256 (SHA2 using SALT Value). I was able to achieve SHA256 without SALT using CSNBOWH routine. But i am not able to find document which has the details on using SALT Value.

The objective is to match the Encrypted value passed from API with COBOL Value(Generated using same SALT).

Any reference manual or help is appreciated.
