I have a requirement to encrypt a PS file with a Software/Tool compatible with OpenPGP standard (RFC 4880) and send the file via sFTP
public/private key algorithm need to be used for the data encryption
Can any one please provide me how to do the encryption on ZOS with openPGP if possible with sample JCL
The non-expiring public key for data encryption will be supplied by the remote system. |

This is NOT an IBM tool - i.e. it is not produced by IBM - so why post here? It is an open source thingy so the documentation will be on the OpenPGP website and enquiries should be made there. |

Hello and welcome to the forum,
Do consider that much (most) of the "open source" offerings are NOT for the mainframe.
You first need to make sure that this software has a mainframe version. |

You will also need to consider that sending a file from z/OS via SFTP is not quite so simple.
This has been discussed a few times recently.
May I suggest you have the requirement maker research the feasibility of the 'requirement'. |

Hello,
To elaborate just a bit on what Dave has said - IBM does not currently have a z/OS SFTP client that can be invoked in a z/OS job. My bad that i didn't go further when i replied originally. I got stuck on the openPGP . . .
I recently asked about the same and have found only some products that run under USS (Umix Syster Services). |
