Hi,
We have COBOL Report Writer from Vendor called SPC but I was doing some search and found out IBM seems also have or support this Report Writer. I am now a little bit confused ..is this Report Writer product belongs to IBM or SPC? Is this Report Writer as part of COBOL complier?
Can we easily to convert program that written in Cobol Report Writer to normal Cobol program?
Thank you !!!! |

Did you Google 'cobol report writer'? The first item on my results gives you a clue without reading the article. I am sure that if you read the wikipedia article and others like it you would understand more. |

SPC System's Report Writer and IBM's are one and the same. IBM has licensed the product from SPC Systems and sells it under IBM Product IDs 5798-DYR and 5798-DZX. SPC provides product support contracts for users who have purchased the IBM supplied version of the product. Users must contact SPC Systems to make arrangement for support.
Hope this helps. |
