Hello
As per my requirement , I am using NDM : Connect direct in my first step of Job which will NDM the data from Server to Flat file . In the Second step of Job Its using the Cobol Program which take the Flat file created in previous step as input and Process it.
But the Issue is NDM Flat file is never created during Processing of Job , and the Job Failed with JCL error as file Not found in Second step of Job.
Once the Job completes , then only NDM flat file become available in Mainframe.
I have tried with MAXDELAY=UNLIMITED in NDM Card , so that Job second step should wait until the NDM Process completes and the File become available before second step of Job start.
But MAXDELAY=UNLIMITED causes to Job first step to wait for long time (Cancelled the Job after 10-11 mins). if I use only NDM process in Job then the NDM Process completes soon and the flat file become available.
is there any way so that NDM Process should Complete before next step start in Job.
I wanted to do the NDM and Cobol program processing in single Job.
