Hi,
I tried copying the tape dataset to DASD dataset and use it as input file to execute my job, but it tells dataset not found.
tape file: 4104 length
dasd file: I was unable to copy it when I gave 4104 as LRECL, hence I gave 27994 to copy the tape file to dasd file.
I am able to view the DASD file in file manager, but unable to use it while execution.
As I am unable to copy the details over here, I have attached the details hereby.
Edit: Attachment removed |

So obviously the copy didn't work too well if the resulting file isn't found.
Apart from that, with the minimal information you have given, expecting help is rather a prayer than a reality.
Please DO NOT use attachments as you could be anyone trying to install a virus or malaware on my machine, so I for one refuse to open it.
If you can get the details into an attachment, then you should be able to post them in plain sight here too.
If you do post in plain text, be a luvvy and don't forget the code tags |
