Hi, I am pretty familiar with CA-7 tool. However, is there any other batch scheduling tool that gives a better user experience in terms of visual flow, restart capability etc. Appreciate a point of view. |

A "better user experience" is entirely objective -- one person might prefer Tivoli, another CA-7, another ASG's Workload Management (Beta42) -- and each person's preference is completely acceptable since each has a "better user experience" than the others. |

TWS is easy to learn with it's menu driven structure as opposed to CA7's command line interface. It's also got built in job restart capabilities, whereas I believe with CA7 this is an optional separate product. I like it, but then I'm more familiar with it than any of the others.
I believe Control-M is generally well regarded. |
