Hi, I am pretty familiar with CA-7 tool. However, is there any other batch scheduling tool that gives a better user experience in terms of visual flow, restart capability etc. Appreciate a point of view.

A "better user experience" is entirely objective -- one person might prefer Tivoli, another CA-7, another ASG's Workload Management (Beta42) -- and each person's preference is completely acceptable since each has a "better user experience" than the others.

TWS is easy to learn with it's menu driven structure as opposed to CA7's command line interface. It's also got built in job restart capabilities, whereas I believe with CA7 this is an optional separate product. I like it, but then I'm more familiar with it than any of the others.

I believe Control-M is generally well regarded.
