Hi Team,
This question or problem is totally related to scheduling an automation and it goes like this: I have a job1 and job 2 i have one file1 abc.xyd.file1 which is coming from distributed side in other word form Unix server to mainframe server i have kept file1 as special resource dependency on job1 like when special resource file1 is available then only my job1 should run and in when my job1 is completed successfully and in my job1 in last step i am creating one more file that is abc.xyz.file2 ..i am keeping on job2 dependency like once the job1 and finishes successfully and that file2 is available then only run the job2. since job2 is very critical my reviewer is asking to put more condition apart from this special resource to start the job2 ...what other and how i can put other condition here I am bit lost and trying best what else i can do to make this flow more rigid and trustable that without job1 (which does all the validation ) getting finished successfully my job2 should not start..i already kept two dependency here in job2 one is job1 and file2 availability ..please suggest any better solution if it all there is one bcz i cant think of any just apart form putting more checks and special resource set up...any suggestion any links is appreciated here. |

| If it finishes successfully, have job1 submit job2. |
