Hi Team,
Thanks for your great support.
I have a requirement, I am sending an email using XMIT after completion of a job. I want to change the font type of email body to "Courier New".
Could you please let me know how to change the font type, if it is possible.
Thanks in advance. |

XMIT is a TSO command to send email between z/OS systems (or z/OS and z/VM systems). Since the mainframe does not deal with courier font, XMIT is not likely to do it either.
XMITIP is a vendor package supporting transfers between mainframes and other platforms. If this is what you meant by "XMIT", contact the vendor.
It is possible to use HTML codes in emails, which would allow setting courier font (although you may have to use MIME in your email to get the HTML accepted).
HOWEVER, you MUST become aware that the actual presentation of data is under the control of the email client on the receiving system, and if that client does not support HTML or courier font, there is NOTHING you can do on the mainframe to force the data to be displayed using courier font. Check what is possible with your email client before you do anything else! |

Hi Robert,
Yes, I am referring to XMITIP. I will try to find the options to set MIME and Font (using HTML tags).
Thanks again.!! |

Thanks All,
I got desired output (Courier New font) after adding HTML option in my XMITIP options.
Thanks again. |
