Hi

I am experiencing a strange problem while executing a transaction in various CICS regions. The transaction is working fine and displaying the map correctly when triggered through one of the regions, but is showing Junk characters while triggered from other regions.

I checked the source code and even copied the LOAD from the correct region to other regions and New copied. Still the problem remains the same.

The only difference I can see is in transaction definition. The region where it is working correctly has it defined as

Prfile(DFHCICST)

but for others it is

Prfile(XXXXV4AP).

Can this make a difference in this case. I am not authorised to change the RDO definitions. So just wanted to be sure before suggesting something to client.

Thanks

Rather than guess (environments can be very different), you need to speak with either Tech Support personnel and/or your CICS Sysprog(s).
