All,
In my installation, when program abends it doesnt generate CEEDUMP or the diagnostic message in sysout. CEEDUMP is coded in JCL. We use Enterprize COBOL 4.2. What do I need to do to enable both of these or is it installation wide setup and i need to contact the admin or enable it.
Regards,
Tushar |

You should be able to achieve it for an individual step. The ways are many. You need to look at specifying/customising Language Environment runtime options. |

Another possibility is that a dump handling utility (Abend Aid, Fault Analyzer, DumpMaster etc) is intercepting your abend and doing its own thing. Depends on which, if any, you have installed at your shop and how it is configured. |
