Hi,
We have been using RUMBA emulator and our screen works fine with it, we tried the same with Humming bird and it works fine in that too.
Our users have myEXTRA and the screen is not properly working there.
The screen is navigating properly from first to second and in the second screen if we press ENTER it should throw the same with different data's, But the screen is showing the same old data.
Its showing PROG753 in the bottom of the screen, when we press ENTER. For other cases like F7 and F8 its working fine.
Could anyone suggest on this. If some thing needs to be taken care while mapping/coding for myEXTRA. Any link for references will be helpful. |

| I suspect the screen is not "throwing" anything but "displaying" it. I have never heard of myEXTRA so many others may not have heard of it either. In any case, the best place to go would be the myEXTRA support - maybe there is something wthin myExtra that is not quite rght or maybe it needs a special tweak at installation time. They will know far better than anyone here. |

Hello,
What does "not ptoperly working" mean?
Possibly your setup is not for the same terminal type for the "3270" as the emulators that work correctly. |

IBM indicates the PROG 753 has several possible meanings:

Prog 753
One or more of the following conditions occurred:
A READ MODIFIED, READ MODIFIED ALL, or READ BUFFER command that also contained data was received.
A REPEAT TO ADDRESS or GRAPHIC ESCAPE order was received which specified a character set that is not valid.
A START FIELD EXTENDED, MODIFY FIELD, or SET ATTRIBUTE order was received which specified an attribute value or character set that is not valid.

Considering two other 3270 emulators are not having the problem it sounds like time to contact the vendor to me. |
