Hi, I am the part of Capacity Planning team. I defined 10 GP engines, 10 zAAP engines, 2 zIIP engines for the model 2827-610 with the system configuration(LCPs, weight etc). I am really confused as the total zAAP capacity is nearly 12000 MIPS(approx. 7100 GP MIPS and approx. 2400 zIIP MIPS) but when I look at the IBM MIPS for 2827-610 it is just 7772. I am facing this problem only when I use 2827-610 and the zAAP Capacity is great when using other CPC models. Could anyone please help me on this? |

Have you contacted zpcr@us.ibm.com with your question as directed in the zpcr documentation? |

Considering that the work day has just started for the Eastern US (and is still a few hours off for the Western US), you need to give them some time. If the ZPCR team, like the DFSORT group, is on the West Coast of the US, they won't even see your email for another hour or two. It is many hours too early to be thinking about other ways to resolve the question. You need to give them at least 24 to 48 hours of work time, so you should not be bugging ANYBODY about your question until at least Tuesday or Wednesday. |
