Hi All,
It's my first post here and thank you everyone in this forum.
I am facing an issue in converting certain values in Latin to ECDIC and UTF-8. As I have 400+ Latin Characters, out of which only 250 will be supported by EBCDIC. So I have used ALTSEQ to convert the data for characters having hex values as X'DF' etc. But now I need to convert Characters as Ā which has a Hex value as 100

Am getting abend due to syntax error when I give so.

Please do not post screenshots unless you first resize them so that they do not require right/left scrolling. Also, to make them use less bytes thatn cut and paste you would probably have to make them so small as to be unusable.
Why, before posting, do you not check what software you are using? The messages indicate that you are using Syncsort and not DFsort - this is the DFSort forum. |

Hello and welcome to the forum,
Using the Code tag accomplishes the "same thing" as a screenshot - and us much more user/forum friendly. Even reducng the size still wastes considerable storage space.
To use the Code tag, simply copy/paste the screen content to the message you are composing to post. Highlight the screen info and click the Code tag.
Use Preview to see your post as it will appear to the forum. When you are satisfied with how the post appears, Submit. |
