Hello ,
I am using a Db2 product for Dba in my project . When i open a second session of the same product in same LPAR It issues a warning And says the tools behavior cannot be guaranteed in either sessions.
Is there any coding limitation which prevents the tool to be used in multiple session . What could be done to get rid of this problem . The product is written in assmebler , ISpf programming.
Appreciate for any pointers .
Thanks

| As you do not mention which product how do you expect us to help you? Check the documentation - such limitations must be documented. Also check with the supplier. |

i am using CA product for Db2 : here is the complete warnig message :
You have entered a second session of CA Products
for DB2 in a single TSO session. While this
may not cause any errors, if each session is
accessing different DB2 sub-systems,
unpredictable results may occur. |

nothing You can do ...
if the product tells that it might behave oddly when using multiple sessions ... then that it RIP
but why ask on a forum, without even telling the name of the product ?
wouldn' t have been more productive to ask the <product/tool> provider ? |

Hello,
Suggest you use the "single session" and move on . . . |
