how to excute cobol Db2 program without mainframe access

hi to all

Right now i don't have mainframe access , am developing some COBOL and db2 programs , i want to execute the programs but i don't have access now ... is there any other free services to run this sample programs , if anybody know please tell me

I think the TS is looking for some kind of a simulator I guess.

I initially misunderstood that the user is try to run a job remotely.

Dumb question: Can DB2 run on MVS 3.8? If not, then the TS isn't going to have much luck running his Cobol/DB2 program.

for db2 search the net for the IBM DB2 express edition ( free download )

for cobol search for the fujitsu cobol student edition... it should work with db2
( but You will have to investigate Yourself a bit more )
