Hi ,
My Transaction triggers a Program , which has a remote entry in the region .
My prgram inturn LINKS to another child prgram , where i do some Db2 operation.
Now when i issue a Syncpoint Rollback in the child program , am getting an cics error ADPL .
Please advice if am missing something and what could be possible solution.

i already did tat , and posted this only after not being able to get an hang of it .
All it says is "A server program has issued a command which
is restricted in the distributed program link (DPL)
environment. "
Am not sure why it is giving this message for "SYNCPOINT ROLLBACK"
P.S not sure what number of posts gt to do with reading manulas |

because from the wording it was safer to assume that You just dropped the bomb
without doing any of the <due diligence>
confirmed by the fact that the manuals contain the explanation and the list of the invalid commands
see table 23 of the Application programming guide
and You asked something illogic, how can we tell what is missing/superfluos without knowing what is there ( what You did ) |

ADPL is a generic abend that means you issued a command that is not support in a DPL link. There is no way around it. There are just some CICS commands that you can not do in a DPL. |
