Hello,

What do you want to use the connection to do?

If you are strong with the mainframe and related tools, you might want to consider downloading/installing the Hercules emulator. It is free and will give you a "mainframe on your pc". After Hercules is installed, you then install MVS 3.8.

If you need a current operating environment, this might not work, but much of what is done on z/OS can be done on MVS. . .

Hello,

Have you installed the MVS Operating System? Without the OS, you will not be able to do much with Hercules.

I'll also change the title so others will know this topic is about Hercules too.
