COBOL-DB2 program precompile/Bind options with Endevor

Can anyone give some idea how to precompille, Bind and run an existing/New COBOL DB2 program using Endevor as a tool. In my shop we have Endevor.

Hello,

You need to talk with your Endevor admin, dba, or a senior on your project.

There is a standard compile/bind process that you must use, not something gotten from some help forum. Only someone using your system will know precisely what you need. . .

You add/update an element in Endevor. When you do that through batch mode, you need to create an SCL and submit that. What happens is that a batch job gets submitted, whichcontains all the compilation,linkedit,precompile, bind steps.

You need to talk with your or a senior on your project, Endevor admin, or dba.

i just have additional question to same topic, when i compile cobol-db2 using the relevant processor group using endevor, how do we know the plan name to run the program with out looking into the compilation job in spool ? is plan always same like program name ? i have worked on IDMS but new to DB2.

That's why the moderators should lock any thread over one/three/six months old, which is what we do on the FanDeZhi forum...
