The dataset needs to be created (may also be updated - can't recall) to trigger the event, not just existing. |

Dataset must be opened and closed. Job will not be triggered if you use IEFBR14 to create the dataset. Correct me if I am wrong. |

Hi Dominic,
Thanks for you reply. I used 3.2 option to create dataset.
I'm not understand what it mean that dataset must be opened and closed ?
Could you please it in detail and share your experience if you faced it before. |

Try to use IEBGENER to copy something into your file.
IEBGENER opens and closes your file in order to copy the contents. |

Hi All,
The task has been sucessfully achiveved, I would like to share the information will you all may it would be helpful for some one if they will face the issue.
1. Triggering event and job submitted application, and other parameter
should be defined in ETT pannel shown in my first post.
2. Triggering event should be present in EQQDLIST and EQQDLIST in
member of OPC job lib. ( I was missed out this thing. )
3 EQQDLIST is created by using EQLSJCLR JCL ( It is supplied by IBM while installing OPC,change the JCL according to your needs ). |
