| I've noticed several requests for members to not use the attachment facility due to the fact that some folks cannot open them. If this is the case, maybe the "attach" capability should be removed as an option? Just a thought. |

| I originally thought that the concept of an attachment would be limited to either text or pdf files. I think it bothers me more that people who allegedly work in IT would actually attach a Word/Excel file and expect someone else to be naive enough to open it. |

couldn' t agree more
I am a happy mac user
and seeing all those .doc extensions to post a 100kb jpeg of a screenshot
when a 800 bytes text cut and paste would be enough,
well... that' s a pain in SAS |

It's those jpeg screenshots I really hate...
Attachments, txt only, can be handy for really big things, but, for the most part, they should not be used...... |
