Ekta,

You can. Speak with your peers or endevor team to know the lib.

if you look at the spool output of your promotion (from one stage to another) job, look at the cs?msgs. you can find the name of datasets there.

That would depend on your local setup, something that we have no information about.

Do we have any option in endevor where we can check this information?

Ekta, do you have MONITOR=COMPONENT on in your JCL processor; or are you using the default *noproc* ? If you have the monitor feature enabled you can use the LIST ELEMENT action on your JCL & ask it to examine all related components. This can be done via a batch SCL LIST ELEMENT action or by using ACM.

Hi,
Go to your Endevor -> Display Option -> Type -> give your type of module moving and enter then you can see the definition of yout type of code along with that the dataset which is called as base library in Endevor. You can check all your physical modules in that dataset which are moving from one stage to another..

let me know still not clear

Hi,
Once you got that "type selection list" panel, select the required type, then enter you can see " TYPE definition panel" there you can see base library where all the modules for that type should store.

let me know if you didn't get you got to processor and you find the output in that 1 -> 8 (processor group) then select type and enter you can get processor and find the require processor

ok there is another easy way like..
1) you know how to display an element right. fidn the required type of module which you want to see the dataset and go to Endevor, then display the element.
after you can see it, you know how to use master display option "M" just like that you use "BX" option and you can get one page with browse screen.

there you try to find the out put library and input library
now you can see both the input and output datasets ..

The doco attached shows me you didn't read my prev notes carefully. I asked you to put BX instead of M". the screen you attached was Master display panel.

if you do browse componets, "BX" you can see another screen where you can do "FIND for Out put dataset"

Simply go to Endevor's element display screen.

Blank out or asterisk all the Systems, Type, Subsystem, etc, but input "INTTST" for Stage. The list will appear onscreen after a little time, if you work in a large installation.

Such elements will reside on more than one PDS, because they will be spread out over many business systems.
