hi patil

If you want to use the production version, wait till the package is baselined
from from frozen state to ensure that you have the latest version.

If you want to use the chages in the pakage that is frozen, just checkout and stage(S1) from that fromzen package to that of ours.

If you want to use the current prodution version ignoring the changes in frozen package just check out production version to your packageoverlaying the changes in the frozen package.

info: If you have frozen the package you cannot edit it you can only browse it.

Reply if you still have queries.

Hi Patil,

In Changeman, in the Checkout screen, you will see an option there, (L - List libraries where component is located), put your component name and type, then type "L" in the option commandline. When you push enter, you will see there the list of packages that contain the component you specified earlier. Select the staging library.

Hi,

One alternate way can be,
Package is FROZEN but you can still access the component from the Package PDS(CHGMAN.GMS%.#package no.SRC/PRZ..etc, where % can take vaule accoriding to your shop).
For this, check-out the needed component from base-line, cut the code from changed component from CHGMAN.GMS%.#package no.SRC & paste thatin checked-out component.

Hope you got it.
