Schedule Dynamic in Control-M with Cobol Program

Hi Everyone !!!

I need make a schedule dynamic in Control-M generating a JCL with a COBOl program. I already make the cobol program to generate a JCL, now i need schedule this or these JCLs in Control-M.

Would you write this new JCL to the override library of an existing scheduled (dummy) member?

Hi

i have submitted one job in control-m.but the job abended with not submit.when i checked the log it show no job card.but i checked in the jcl the job card was there.if u guys have the answer for my question it willhelpful for me.

Looking at the JCL generated & the error messages (SYSOUT) might provide us some insight to suggest something useful...

Thanks for ur reply.that jcl not yet executed.i saw the log of control-m.there we can see only the log of job how was submitted & what was the error.only error message i saw it was no job card & job not submitted.can any help me out

Hi,
have you tried submitting the job outside of Control-M ?

If not, try it and see if you get the same error.

By the way the job did not abend, Control-M was unable to sumbit the job due to invalid job card.
