I would like to know if it is possible to practise (ie., compile and run) application programs written in COBOL, with connecting to IMS Database and DB2 database. Also, is there any facility to write CICS programs? I have Fujitsu COBOL compiler and DB2 UDB Personal Edition.
Thanks in Advance.

On mainframe Environment you can communicate with CICS, DB2 and IMS from VS COBOL II.

In PC environment you can connect with DB2 from your Fijistu compiler. But not with IMS DB/DC
