Hi All,
I have a doubt?,
Can i use FILE-AID jobs in production procs.I have to develop a job to compare two vsam files. In file aid i have camapre option which will submit a job to do this. Can i use this job in a proc to do my purpose.
Some on told me that i can't use file aid jobs in production procs.
Is it true?

This is an issue of your company's standards and conventions.

So, what stops you from running a FileAid job? And how is "production" defined for you? Is it on a separate LPAR? separate maching? Logical environment?
