Endevor helps to manage the software life cycle by providing a consinstent and flexible logical structure. There are six components to this inventory structure: environments, stages , systems, subsystems, types and elements.
stage: there will be two stages in environment (ie Dev1, Dev2, Alpha, Beta,Prod and Swat)
system: this refers to related applications stored within endevor. for example endevor contain financial system and a payroll system.
subsystem: its a specific application within a system for example finance systems may contain such subsystems as accounts payable, accounts recievable and ledger etc.,
