Hi everybody,
i want some document regarding operation planning and cotrol (OPC)schedling which is used for running batch jobs in mainframe environment.
if anybody has this document plz help me in this regard

Hi,
OPC is mainly used for job scheduling. Batch jobs run weekly i.e from (Monday - Saturday) or it can be monthly as well based on the requirements.
I have attached a sample screenshot on how to use Database option in OPC. This is the most frequently used option where you can see the jobs along with their time.
In order to do some changes or you want to cancel some job then you have to raise a request in OPCRS.
