Pre Processing before running a program in the Xpeditor

Can anybody please explain what are teh pre processing (like compliation etc) to be done before running a program in the Xpeditor ?

Hi

1. You need to xped compile the program. If you are using changeman then give option Y in Xped compile.

2. Then you go to Xped.
3. There you have to specify the Jcl to run this program. i,e th erun Jcl
4. Do not use proc in the Jcl.
5. After providing this press enter and u will grt into xped.
5. use F9 to debug line by line.
