Hi,

My client is migrating the mainframe application to cloud and they informed us that it doesn't support JoinKeys, Overlay and IFTHEN statement under the SORT utility so what could be the possible and convenient alternatives for these control statements?

Any kind of help is really appreciated.

ICETOOL has a SPLICE operator that was useful before JK was introduced. For IFTHEN try CHANGE as substitute.

Fairy tales...

Starting from 2000 I participated in about 10 projects attempting "to migrate from mainframe to wherever possible"

Finally none of them has had any visible progress, at all.
Just money laundering, nothing else.
