SYNCSORT allows to specify a standard SELECT statement to define input data extracted directly from DB2 table(s) rather than records read from a prepared dataset.
There are no described restrictions on using ORDER BY clause in SQL query to be executed within SYNCSORT, and any correct ORDER BY clause is really accepted. But, surprisingly, the records extracted from DB2 by SYNCSORT are found not ordered by the column from ORDER BY clause!
The same SQL query executed from SPUFI demonstrated ordered results, but after SYNCSORT the same data come not ordered.
Does anyone has any idea on this issue? |
