Hi,
In a CICS program that does a synchpoint rollback, the updates are not actually rolled back. We can see the execution flow go thru the rollback statement without error, but the rollback does not happen.
What could be the possible reasons for this to happen? The DTB for the tran is set to 'not applicable' and it appears this is ok. The eibresp returns 0. Any pointers to trouble shoot this or what settings to look for? the updates are db2 related.
TIA |

I understand I may not have furnished a lot of information but I was just trying to get inputs from the experience of senior folks when (or what settings of the tran etc) could cause the rollback from happening.
Also, is there a way for me to troubleshoot this in any way - I displayed eibresp and that shows 0. Is there any other information i can capture during/after the rollback to get an insight?
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks |
