Increase the number of columns in the IBM IWS/TWS

A question has come up for me recently. I often look at the error panel (Handle operations in erro), and I'm wondering if it's possible to horizontally expand the TWS display. This way, I could see more columns and information without needing to press F11 or F10 constantly.

I am not familiar with the panel you refer to, so it is not clear it this helps...

The normal screen size is 24x80, but you can reconfigure your emulator to be a different size. When I was still working I used a 40x130 screen, but I have heard of people using even wider settings.

And then you have to change your ISPF settings so that the panels expand to that size. (I forgot the details). But it also depends on how the panel was designed.

Hi Pedro, yes, I already changed the screen size of emulator to 27x132 (lines/columns) and also changed the configuration on ISPF config (ISPF Settings > Terminal Characteristics > Screen format, changed from 2 to 3 (Max).

I can see that it works on JES, but not on TWS/IWS software.

It sounds like that panel was not designed to expand in that way. You should submit a requirement to IBM.
