hi all,
I have a requirement to convert a large set of Optim extract files (each spanning over 200 tables) into DSNTIAUL format in readiness for a fast table load.
InfoSphere Optim does provide a utility to convert to external format, but only supports CSV delimited.
- are there any limitations around CSV output from Optim - eg, long varchar, XML types, binary representation etc?
- in terms of third party tools, is there anything out there that will transform CSV + catalogue data => DSNTIAUL - or (better) Optim Extract => DSNTIAUL? |

the problem is the Optim extract is a a proprietary format ..
the good news is that I found a way to generate to DSNTIAUL format within InfoSphere .. option 9;7 (archive;load). Don't know why I didn't see this before |
