Hi.. Could someone explain the step to send mainframe PS file to our local directory in txt format using JCL batch process. |

Where is that "local directory"? Use FTP and look up EBCDIC/ASCII operands. |

Hi Joerg - Thanks for replying.
To my local machine. it can be downloads or C:Drive. "C:Users\Public\Documents.
Please provide sample jcl format as well. |

Please do use SEARCH facility On the top of this site or Google it. Plenty of them are available. Or use option 6 and follow emulator steps to FTP. why need JCL ?
Second I hope you are going thru proper access channel as FTPIng anything to desktop is a violation of the policy without having proper authorization. |

I am trying to automate the process. as the last step, I want to convert PS into txt or CSV through JCL itself. |

Addendum: To be able to send (PUT) a dataset to a PC w/ FTP, you possibly need to run a FTP Server on PC. But you can also receive (GET) the dataset from the FTP Server on Host by Client means. |
