Convert PS to TXT file using jcl

Hi.. Could someone explain the step to send mainframe PS file to our local directory in txt format using JCL batch process.

Where is that "local directory"? Use FTP and look up EBCDIC/ASCII operands.

Hi Joerg - Thanks for replying.

To my local machine. it can be downloads or C:Drive. "C:Users\Public\Documents.

Please provide sample jcl format as well.

Please do use SEARCH facility On the top of this site or Google it. Plenty of them are available. Or use option 6 and follow emulator steps to FTP. why need JCL ?
Second I hope you are going thru proper access channel as FTPIng anything to desktop is a violation of the policy without having proper authorization.

I am trying to automate the process. as the last step, I want to convert PS into txt or CSV through JCL itself.

Addendum: To be able to send (PUT) a dataset to a PC w/ FTP, you possibly need to run a FTP Server on PC. But you can also receive (GET) the dataset from the FTP Server on Host by Client means.
