Please ask to Mainframes Admin or Mainframes security people at your organization. |

There can be many places where TLS/SSL are used, and each of them are configured differently.
The Emulator that you use to connect to Mainframe can use TLS/SSL.
Data transfer between Mainframe and any other system like Unix or Windows can use TLS/SSL
Web server on the Mainframe - http server or Apache server can use TLS/SSL
CICS CPSM
And many other places where communication is involved.
Which communication are you asking specifically?
If it is emulator to Mainframe connection, then most emulators have a LOCK symbol on the bottom status bar, that shows the SSL certificate and encryption algorithm. |
