Greetings, I need to copy a disk that contains pds, vsam to another disk 3390. Can I use adrdssu full copy? |

ADRDSSU can be used to copy full volumes (physical copy) or data sets (logical copy) to disk or tape. Getting the options right depends upon a number of factors, so you should consult your site support group for assistance. |

I would first go for the logical copy as that will update VTOCs VVDSs etc, which I am not so sure that a physical restore does. I do believe that a physical restore of VSAM clusters will have some catalog issues. Of course you must be aware of SMS when you copy. |

Get out the manual and figure it out yourself. This is a HELP forum, not a DO MY WORK FOR ME forum. If it doesn't work, post what you have done and we can try to HELP you.
