I have a job run on August 27th with this name: xxx2w@da.
I'm using this command on sarbch
/DBASE NAME=...
/PRINTJOB JOBNAME=XXX2W@DA JOBDATE=07/27/2019
I get this error:
SARBCH11 invalid parameter data for keyword JOBNAME
JOBNAME=XXX301DA, WORKS.... |

Since this is a product from an independent software vendor (ISV), your best source for support will be the vendor. If your site pays for maintenance, then you have the right to get support from the vendor.
Note that you stated the run date was August 27th yet your parameter references July 27th (07/27). |

Hello,
Are you aware of what version of SAR are you running. We have an older version of SAR and /PRINTJOB is not supported.
You could try it out with /PRINT command and see if it works for you. /PRINT worked for me to retrieve job XXX2W@DA.
You would need to find the GEN and SEQ numbers from SAR "Sysout Selection List" panel
Code: |
/DBASE NAME=XXXX.SAR
/PRINT ID=XXX2W@DA GEN=nnnn SEQ=n |

Thanks V.
but i need to retrieve the jobs by date...
SAR seems to have an error handling the Jobname parameter!
does not recognize the "@" symbol as valid... |
