Hello,

Is it possible to invoke HYPERSPACE for BMCSORT tasks during a DB2 LOAD in LOADPLUS?

I see "0 PAGES HYPERSPACE USED" message displayed in the SYSPRINT, but no idea how to force BMCSORT to use it.

I tried overriding using DFSPARM DD to include OPTION HIPRMAX=OPTIMAL, but no sign of HYPERSPACE being used.

Any help, highly appreciated.

Have you talked to BMC? If not, why not -- they are the experts on their product, after all? Have you looked at the BMC documentation to see what it says about Hyperspace? When talking about vendor products, you should use the vendor's resources rather than posting on a forum since you are more likely to get good, reliable answers from the vendor.
