Sorry, I mixed up different forums, and forgot to switch between languages... Now re-posting in English. Admins, please delete my errorneuos posts.
Very often I'm getting the following messages while trying to read some of recently posted topics:
Quote: |
502 Bad Gateway
nginx |
I did not touch any networking issue since long time. Kindly give me any idea, why this happens OCCASIONALLY, and with NEW TOPICS only - ??? |

After some extra investigation I've found that "502 BAD GATEWAY" occurs regularly ONLY when using Chrome under Mac OS; it doesn't happen with other browsers/OS tested so far. Right now I'm able to read/post all topics with Safari/MacOS, or Chrome/Android, for example.
This error did not happen just a month ago, with all the same settings and system. I'd highly appreciate any idea: what to check, or to test for fixing this issue.
Thank all in advance. |

I am regularly using chrome with high sierra and everything works smoothly
the most frequent suggestion people get when something odd happens
is to clear the browser caches |

I think I've occasionally seen Bad Gateway with Windoze browsers. Earlier today (US Eastern time) I saw site not found for ibmmainframeforum.com, the sister site for this forum. I always thought the two sites were hosted on the same system, so this struct as sort of strange. Whatever the underlying problem, was was quickly corrected. |

Thanks to all.
No luck. It works fine everywhere except Chrome/MacOS. Neither clear cookies, nor clear browser caches, nor full shutdown and restart helps...
On Mac - High Sierra, version 10.13.4 (17E199) - old topics work fine, too; almost none of new topics can be viewed.
Other forums with the same engine work fine.
The only solution so far: I use Android on my tablet when out of home, and use Safari/MacOS at home, to access exclusively Mainframe Forum. |

Update to previous discussion.
After my vacation, the 502 BAD GATEWAY problem has disappeared by itself. Now it's working again, with any browser, any OS, and any topic.
Before that, I tried to consult with other network experts I know, but none of them was able to clarify possible reasons for this strange behavior... |
