Getting User abend code for IMS region - U0688
which says the IMS region is not up or inactive. However, I checked manually and found that the IMS region is very much active. Please help me resolve this issue.
Fault Analyzer note :
The abend was caused by machine instruction 0A0D (Abend).
Many thanks !!

Did the job run on the correct LPAR? i.e. the same one where the IMS subystem is running? |

Yes, the job and the IMS region are in the same LPAR only. |

What region? The control region or a dependent region? |

So IMS is started and NOT the dependent region.
Talk to your IMS support. |
