I have another tribute song for the mainframe. I need help with my lyrics. Sung to the music of 'what a wonderful world', by Louis Armstrong.

Quote:
I see screens of green, with ISPF too
I use them well for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world

I see panels of blue with lines of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world

The colors of the palette so pretty on the screen
Are also on the faces of users looking on
I see customers shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I need you

I see interns trying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world

See my first tribute song here

My two cents :-)

I like this song with shadows - www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZ5MJqB9myA

I see screens of green, with ISPF too
I see it Time-Share for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world

I see panels of blue with lines of white
The bright blessed font, the dark sacred screen
And I think to myself what a wonderful world

The colors of the palette so pretty on the screen
Are also on the faces of users looking on
I see customers shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I need you

I see interns trying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world

the 'time-share' part needs to grow on me some.

In each stanza, the end of the first line and the end of the second line need to rhyme. For this stanza, how about green instead of white?

though, now it seems like too many uses of 'screen'.
