oProviding Estimations and Resource Profiles
oManaging Testing environment bookings and allocation
2) Day to Day Tasks
oAnalyze the project architecture & translate the design into the necessary ITO service requests
oWork with Project Teams and IT Operations to translate the design into a fully working Environment
oDiscuss the release requirements with the project team, assess impacts, and raise required changes to release the components.
oTest Data Management, including Data Refresh, Data Masking
oCoordination and communication with key stakeholders
oSetup Links/Interfaces from Mainframe to Other Systems (Front end and Backend)
oSetting up MQ, Db2 tables, Job Scheduling, CICS Routings, Files, and Endevor Setups etc.
oResolve environment related issues during Batch and Online testing
oProvide Development Environment support for all types of Environmental issues
oEnvironment planning scheduling and allocation
oProactive and reactive Performance Monitoring
oData setups as per Testing needs
oManagement, Allocation, Support and Maintenance of Integration Testing Environments
oProviding Support of adhoc batch job execution, reference data setup, user id maintenance, code management, maintenance and support of batch suites
oIdentify unused environments and use then where possible and demise them if not required
oSupport of testing by multiple sectors/projects in Integration environments, e.g. adhoc batch job execution, reference data setup, user id maintenance, code management
oSetup and maintenance of Automated batches
oEndevor Code Moves , Maintenance of DB2 environments and Intercept Libraries
3)Technology Skills
oMore than 5 years of experience on Z-Series platform
oExcellent knowledge of File Transmission, Middleware, Job Scheduling, DB2, File setups
oExcellent knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change and release Management
oKnowledge on COBOL,JCL,VSAM,DB2,CICS,SQL
oKnowledge on MQ would be added advantage to troubleshoot and support the environment issues.
