Have you tried the TWS/OPC introduction manual? Google? About 415,000 results when googling 'opc tutorial' and all of the first page seem relevant. I didn't bother looking any further. |

Hi Nic,
Thanks for your Input. The challenge what I am facing out here is most of the documents I have been going though describes topĂcs related to Long term plan, Current Plan, creating applications etc.. which I am not specifically looking for. These are some of the things which we do once TWS/OPC is already set up..
What I am to be specific looking for is if I am planning to create test TWS/OPC Environment then what are the prerequisites. I am Aware of what Subsystems are, then what is Workstation, PARMLIB & PROCLIB dataset, Initialization Statements, different Parameters like (BATCHOPT, AROPTS etc), TRACKER, CONTROLLER; but I am seeking for some Information like how they are interconnected.
Hope this make a sense.. |

In that case you should be looking at the installation documents and talking to the support people who support your production installation.
As your mainframe skills are TWS Operations then you should be familiar with all this anyway (and know where your manuals are). |
